Book Holder
The Solo Reader holds the pages of an open book firmly in place while
comfortably reading with one "SOLO" hand. Its clear hinged acrylic cover lies
over the pages of an open book for clear crisp reading.
The Solo Reader is a multi-tasker's dream come true! Just slip your book into
the Solo Reader and the pages stay open for you, allowing you to do other tasks
at the same time.
- Place the opened book in between the colored base portion of the
SoloReader and its clear hinged cover.
- The open book will now be sandwiched between the colored base portion of
the SoloReader and its clear hinged cover.
- It will also be resting against the lower edge (lip) preventing the book
from sliding out towards your lap.

- Hold the base (back portion) of the SoloReader with your left hand. Now
rest your left thumb on the lower lip of the base so as to not obstruct the
page from turning.
- Using your right hand, take the top right corner of the page (that you
want to turn) between your index finger and thumb, (like you would ordinarily
do when turning a page), and then begin to turn the page.
- As the page begins to turn, the clear hinged cover begins to lift with the
page you are turning.
- As this process is taking place, your right thumb can now slide along the
underside of the clear hinged cover lifting the cover high enough to allow
sufficient room for the page to turn and then lay flat.
- As you are using your thumb to lift the clear cover, your fingers should
be folding the page over. If the page is being bent of wrinkled, raise the
cover a little higher with your thumb to allow more room for the page to turn.
- To reiterate, while turning the page, your thumb should slide under the
clear hinged cover while your fingers should be folding the pages over. As the
page lays in its final position your reading can continue comfortably and
unabated.
